I use the Magnificat publication and the online version. It’s amazing. All the daily mass readings along with art, meditations and more are included.

Today’s meditation spoke to me. It was about Jesus’ Sacred Heart and it said, “…He becomes the support and consolation of thousands of fervent souls, from the missionary who exposes himself to death that he might spread the Gospel to the humble Christian woman who, obliged to live in the world…comes to seek every morning in Holy Communion the strength to defend herself from the temptations that surround her….” The quote was by Father Reginald Garrigou-Lagrange, o.p.

It is so much what I am trying to do – receive Jesus and defend myself (and my family, loved ones and more) from that which can break our relationship with Jesus.

It is tough in this secular society to have a place for daily mass and communion with Jesus. It’s how I manage my day and I hope I can someday do the Lord Jesus Christ right with my actions and sharing His love through me to others. Fiat.
