I could not share what the First Friday of the month is without also sharing what First Saturday is for our dear Mama Mary. This devotion goes back to the appearances of Our Lady of Fatima on July 13, 1917 to the three shepherd children. Mama also asked for the devotion to Venerable Sr Lucia in 1925 and 1929. This devotion for 5 consecutive First Saturdays and involves:

1. Going to confession on or around the First Saturday.
2. Receiving the Sacrament of Holy Communion.
3. Saying the Rosary.
4. Meditating for 15 minutes on the mysteries of the Rosary.

During this time, all should be offered in reparation for the sins of blasphemy and ingratitude committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Mary promised Venerable Sr Lucia, one of the seers at Fatima, that anyone who does this devotion will be helped at the hour of death with all the graces necessary for the salvation of their souls.

The reason why this should be done for five First Saturdays are to make reparations for the following:

• Blasphemies against the Immaculate Conception.
• Blasphemies against her virginity.
• Blasphemies against her divine maternity at the same time refusal to accept her ad the Mother of all men.
• Instilling indifference, scorn and even hatred towards this Immaculate Mother in the hearts of children.
• Direct insults against her sacred images.
